As one of the project partners that helped develop the energy modelling for ReCover’s Atlantic Canada Deep Retrofit Roadmap, Baseline Energy Analytics (BEA) has published a case study that expounds on process that resulted in the 20 building archetypes presented in the Roadmap, as well as the findings that emerged. ReCover tested different retrofit pathways to understand how building type, heating systems, and regional electricity grids affect energy and greenhouse gas reductions.
